The City of Kenora has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for all addresses North of the Canadian Pacific Railway Tracks. This also includes 1506, 1507, 1510, 1511, 1512, 1518, 1537, 1629, 1633, 1702, 1705, 1706, 1708, 1712, 1713, 1714, 1716, 1719 and 1723 Railway St, 512 Nineteenth Ave North and Evergreen and Crawford Road Water Stations.
The City of Kenora states “due to repairs, the safety of the drinking water isn’t guaranteed.”
All water from taps should be boiled for at least one minute if it is used for human consumption.
“Brushing Teeth, washing food, adding water to uncooked food, and making ice cubes are just a few activities that you should used boiled water for, which can be refrigerated in food safe containers” The City says.
