Wauzhushk Onigum Band Adminstration have been notified by Hydro One of a pending outage on September 30th, 2025 from 10am to 4pm due to the relocation of hydro poles near Golden Eagle Bingo Hall. No further details are provided by Hydro One.
Upon investigating, 101.3 The Gap has learned that Hydro One has another pending outage scheduled for October 5th, 2025 that will affect over 8,000 Hydro One Customers.
This outage is spanning from Grassy Narrows, Kenora and surrounding areas, down HWY 71 to HWY 11.
Wauzhushk Onigum, Kenora, Grassy Narrows, Jones Road, Airport Road, East Mellick Road, Rabbit Lake, Longbow Lake, Willard Lake, Hawk Lake, Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls, Morson, Emo, Rainy River, Stratton, Barwick, Devlin, Onigaming, Northwest Angle, and areas in between will be affected.
