Just before 11:00am Central Time. Several Wauzhushk Onigum Hydro One Customers were in the dark on Sunday Afternoon after high winds knocked out power to several parts of Northwestern Ontario. Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement on Sunday due to winds gusting up to 70KM/HR.
Most customers were back on by 9pm Sunday evening however customers in the First Portage area of Wauzhushk Onigum had their power out overnight as crews were reassessing the damage. Power came back on before 2pm on Monday afternoon.
