Update: 1:10pm CT Water should be back on for Wauzhushk Onigum Residents. Water was turned off around 11am due to locating watermain breaks under the water.
Please note there is a boil water advisory in effect until further notice. Please boil all water for consumption for at least 1 minute this includes water for brushing teeth, cooking or making ice. Crews on Wauzhushk Onigum are working on watermain break repairs and there will be uncertainty for drinking water for the next 24 hours.
Crews are trying to fix other watermain issues on Wauzhushk Onigum Nation and the water may be shut off again this week to help alleviate the issues. Check back for updates regularly.
