Environment Canada has issued an Orange Cold Warning for much of the region due to the arctic cold temperatures.
Wind chill values will remain from -40 to -50 through out the weekend, day and night. It is important to cover up as frostbite can happen in minutes
Buses were cancelled for January 23rd, 2026. The Wauzhushk Onigum Nation Band Office was shutdown for the day (January 23rd).
Alzheimer Society Coffee Break at Kenora’s A&W has been postponed to January 30th.
Mt. Evergreen Ski Hill will be shutdown for the Jan 23/24/25 weekend.
