Kenora OPP, Fire and EMS responded to a call at the Keewatin Memorial Arena Thursday Morning around 7am.
The scene cleared just before 11am. The OPP haven’t released any additional details on the incident however have assured that there is no threat to public safety and the matter was contained.

“#KenoraOPP is advising the public of an increased police presence in Keewatin around Front St./Portage Bay/E Way Bay Rd. as a result of an ongoing investigation. While there is no threat to public safety at this time and the matter is currently contained, the OPP is asking people to avoid the area. Updates to be provided as information becomes available.^elm”
