Day 2 Results of NAFN for Rat Portage: All Rat Portage teams are out of contention for the Championships.

Pikangikum defeated the Rat Portage Old Timers yesterday 5-2, Tim Skead with 2 goals, and Joey Mandamin with 1 assist.

The Rat Portage Braves Open Division fell to WFB Rangers 3-1 earlier in the day, followed by a 5-0 defeat to Wabaseemong.

The Bravettes beat Lac Seul 7-2, Shae Smith with 4 goals, Robyn Houle with 2 and Avery Skead with 1 goal. In their late game they made it to overtime but fell to the Whitefish Bay Lady Rangers by a score of 4-3. Jacie Indian, Robyn Houle and Shae Smith with goals in the loss.

Earlier in the day:

The Bravettes beat Grassy 9-1 in the Ladies Division today with Jana Hendrick getting a hat trick, Debra Kakeway and Ashley Fisher with 2 goals while Robyn Houle and Kylie Fisher scored a goal in the victory. With two games in the Tournament, the Bravettes are at 1 win, and 1 loss and currently sit 3rd in the standings. Their second game will start at 5:30 today.

The Old Timers fell to OCN 8-3 earlier today, with Tim Skead getting 2 goals and Joe Cameron scoring in the defeat.

Rat Portage Bravettes were shutout yesterday against the Shoal Lake Flyer 10-0

The Old timer Rat Portage Braves are now 2-0 at the tournament with victories yesterday, in their first game they beat Crow Lake Hawks 5-3 Nathan Landon with 2 goals, Tim Skead with 2 goals and Joven Skead with 1 goal while Jason Kelly picked up an assist.

Their second game they beat Grassy Dynamo 3-1 with goals goals by Jeremy Skead, Tim Skead and Nigel Cameron, Jason Kelly and Jamie Mandamin picked up assists,

And the Open Division Rat Portage Praves beat the Grassy Eagles 5-0. Jordan Redsky with a hat trick, Jaelyn Landon, with a goal and 2 assists, Tristan Kelly with 1 goal and 2 assists, Jeff Indian, Julian Favell, Jaysen Favell all with an assist.

 

All Rat Portage teams will have a game to play today. The Bravettes, at 11:30am in Keewatin

The Old Timers face off against OCN at 2:00pm. Both teams are at the top of the Standings each with 2 wins with 4 points. Game in Kenora

The Open Division Team will face off after 4pm today, Game in Keewatin.

Niisaachewan Rockets faced off against the Grassy Dynamo. Grassy won 10-5.
