The Fifa World Cup is coming to Canada this summer and they’ve announced a “Canada Celebrates” tour that will make a stop in Kenora on July 7th.
According to a press release from Fifa, “Canada Celebrates will bring football fans together for live match viewings, football-themed activations, cultural programming, music, food, and moments of national pride.”

The 2026 Fifa World Cup will be hosted by Mexico, United States and Canada with all 3 countries all automatically qualifying. Toronto and Vancouver will be hosting games, Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara will be hosting games in Mexico while Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Miami, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Boston and New York.
The Fifa World Cup goes from June 11 to July 19.
