Testing of the alert ready system will take place this week.
In a social media post from Emergency Ready in Canada “Regular testing of the Alert Ready system ensures that we are prepared to deliver urgent warnings to Canadians in an emergency. On May 6, a test over wireless devices, TV and radio will be sent in participating provinces and territories.”
Ontario residents including us in the Kenora area will have testing occur at 11:55am CT on May 6th.
