Robert Skead, Head of the O+M department on Wauzhushk Onigum Nation spoke with 101.3 The Gap this week letting us know about upcoming road work in Second Portage.

O+M Crews will be working from June 15-20th in the area performing ditching and chipping work to prevent water and sewer pipes and drains from getting tangled with roots and to dry up ditches around the neighbourhood. This work will be focused on ditches only but if you have any trees on your property near the ditch to put a red ribbon or similar marking on anything that you want saved.
This work is being funded by the OO Corp on Wauzhushk Onigum to improve our roads and neighbourhoods.
