Please note that a community grad parade will be taking place on the Kenora Harbourfront from 6-7pm approx. to honour all the high school graduates in the Kenora area.
Graduates from Beaver Brae, St. Thomas Aquinas, Bimose, Wash Bay and Grassy Narrow schools and more local area schools will be honoured tonight. Graduates can be dropped off at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion and will walk towards husky the musky as parents, families and friends are encouraged to drive by either boat or car to honk horns, show signs of support and celebrate the graduates.
Lakeview Drive will expect delays between 6-7pm tonight. Please give yourself extra time getting around town or enjoy being in the parade route when it’s happening!
Something similar happened during COVID, but the plans are for this to be a recurring thing moving forward as an additional way to celebrate these amazing accomplishments with our graduates!
