Charlotte McDonald of Kenora is the latest winner of the LWDHF 50/50 Draw but it took a minute to sink in.
Charlottes reaction “This isn’t a crank call, is it?” and when Shauna Aubin, with the LWDHF confirmed it wasn’t a crank call to charlotte, that’s when she started to celebrate!
Charlotte was also the first “legends” winner which is the hospital foundation’s newest program where you can choose to subscribe monthly with an automatic renewal into the draw, so you’ll never forget to support your hospital in the draw.
Now even though there wasn’t a full disclosure of what she will do with her winnings, the first thing Charlotte bought with her winnings was a dogbed for her dog.

July’s Early Bird Draws will be held on July 17 and July 24, with ticket purchase deadlines of 11:59 p.m. CDT the night before each draw. Tickets purchased before any draw deadline remain eligible for all subsequent draws that month, including the July 31 Grand Prize Draw, where one lucky winner will take home 50% of total ticket sales.
