On December 24, the Lake of the Woods Cemetery becomes a brilliant wonder of light from the thousands of ice candles placed on the graves of our loved ones. Gather at the Memory Board at 11:00 a.m. for the Festival of Lights service and carolling, followed by the lighting of the candles at 11:30 a.m.
We need your help to light candles on Christmas Eve. If you want to be part of this beautiful tradition, please contact the Cemetery Office to sign up at 807-467-2067 or cemetery@kenora.ca.
Leave a message with your contact information and the number of people in your group. Students, this is an excellent opportunity to earn volunteer hours.
